Disclosure of Wrongdoing
The Integrity Commissioner accepts disclosures of wrongdoing from current and former public servants as set out in the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006.
How to make a disclosure of wrongdoing
The Commissioner works to ensure that the process for making a disclosure of wrongdoing is fair, informal and prompt. Current and former public servants may disclose wrongdoings to the Commissioner using the disclosure of wrongdoing form. Disclosures may also be made to an Ethics Executive.

What we do
- Receive and assess disclosures of wrongdoing.
- Refer allegations of wrongdoing to an appropriate senior official within government for investigation and review the results of those investigations.
- Make recommendations and monitor corrective action taken or commence an independent investigation.
- Education and outreach activities.
