Integrity Commissioner Files MPP Public Disclosure Statements

Public financial disclosure statements for Ontario’s Members of Provincial Parliament have been filed today with the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

All MPPs have met with Integrity Commissioner J. David Wake to review their financial disclosure and discuss their obligations under the Act. These meetings provided a valuable opportunity to discuss conflict of interest issues, as well as familiarize new MPPs with the work of the Office.

As required by the Members’ Integrity Act, 1994, all members disclose their assets, liabilities and other information in a private statement filed with the Office of the Integrity Commissioner. The statements reflect each MPP’s holdings as of June 7, 2018. The Commissioner is required to disclose publicly certain information from each MPP’s private disclosure statement. Additionally, the Commissioner ensures that each MPP’s financial holdings are in compliance with the Act.

The statements are available at www.oico.on.ca and can also be viewed in the Office of the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly.
