Accessibility Plan
Integrated Accessibility Standards
Introduction
The Office of the Integrity Commissioner’s Accessibility Plan (the “Plan”) is established to outline a strategy to prevent and remove barriers and address the current and future requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
The Plan addresses how the OIC achieves or will achieve accessibility through meeting the requirements of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg 191/11).
The OIC Accessibility Plan is based on the OIC Accessibility Policy, which outlines the Integrated Accessibility Standards that apply to the OIC.
The Plan is posted on the website and will be provided in accessible formats upon request. The OIC will consult with persons with disabilities on its Accessibility Plan and the Plan will be updated, if necessary, on the basis of the consultation.
The Plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every five years in consultation with persons with disabilities.
The OIC will report annually on the progress and implementation of the Plan including posting the progress report on the website and providing it in accessible formats upon request.
