Decision Summaries

The Office publishes summaries of interesting, representative or precedent-setting decisions for use by Ethics Executives, in order to promote consistency in the interpretation and application of the conflict of interest and political activity rules.

The majority of the decisions were issued by the Conflict of Interest Commissioner* but a number relate to decisions by Ethics Executives in ministries (i.e., deputy ministers) and public bodies (i.e., chairs and designated senior executives).
