MPP Integrity

Under the Members' Integrity Act, 1994, the Integrity Commissioner provides conflict of interest advice to Ontario's 124 Members of Provincial Parliament. The primary objective is to help prevent ethics violations before they occur.

The Commissioner receives more than 300 inquiries from MPPs each year, and advises them on how the Act affects them in their day to day activities. The Commissioner also reviews the annual financial disclosure statements filed by all Members to ensure that their holdings are in compliance with the Act. A redacted version of these statements is available by clicking the button below.

The Commissioner also has the power to investigate complaints received from one Member regarding the activities of another Member. The Act does not provide for complaints to be received from the public.
